Prada Group owns Prada, Miu Miu, Church's, Car Shoe and, since December 2, 2025, Versace. Its first half 2026 results show what each is doing.

Prada Group owns Prada, Miu Miu, Church's, Car Shoe and, since the deal closed on December 2, 2025, Versace. Its own July 30, 2026 results release also lists the historic Pasticceria Marchesi and Luna Rossa, the sailing team. The group reported net revenues of €3,048 million for the first half of 2026, up 16% at constant currency, though only 5% once Versace is stripped out.

The brands, as the group lists them

The "About Prada Group" paragraph in the release says the group "owns some of the world's most prestigious luxury brands, Prada, Miu Miu, Church's, Car Shoe, Versace, the historic Pasticceria Marchesi and Luna Rossa". It designs, manufactures and distributes ready-to-wear, leather goods and footwear in more than 70 countries, through 832 stores at June 30, 2026, plus e-commerce, e-tailers and department stores. It also operates in eyewear and beauty through licensing, and reports 24 owned factories and 17,816 employees.

Only three of those brands get their own numbers in the results. Prada and Miu Miu report retail sales growth, and Versace reports net revenues. Church's and Car Shoe are not broken out in the release, so any figure you see for them elsewhere did not come from this document.

Versace, the newest piece

The group announced completion of the Versace acquisition from Capri Holdings on December 2, 2025, after receiving all regulatory clearances. Versace added €305 million in net revenues to the first half of 2026, and the group says it progressed "in line with expectations" with a strategic focus on the quality of the topline and improving retail execution. Pieter Mulier arrived as creative leader in July, which the group calls the beginning of the brand's creative repositioning. Our explainer on who owns Versace covers the deal and what Capri kept.

Prada and Miu Miu in the numbers

Prada brand retail sales rose 3.3% in the half and accelerated to 6.3% in the second quarter, which the group attributes to like-for-like, full-price sales. Miu Miu's retail sales rose 2.5% in the half, with the second quarter at 2.6%. That held up against a comparison of plus 40% in the second quarter of 2025 and a heavier exposure to the Middle East.

“We close the first six months of the year with solid results, accelerating in the second quarter on a positive Q1.”

Andrea Guerra, group chief executive, Prada Group H1 2026 press release, July 30, 2026

Miu Miu's pace is the quiet story: in the second quarter of 2025 it grew 40%, and now it is growing at a similar rate to Prada. The group says the foundations built over the years sustained relevance and desirability against a still challenging comparison base, which is a fair description of a brand lapping a very strong year, not of one in trouble.

Where the money comes from

Of the €3,048 million, retail was €2,633 million, wholesale €299 million (up 40%) and royalties €116 million (up 73%). By region, retail sales were highest in Asia Pacific at €922 million (up 15%, 6% organic), Europe €752 million, the Americas €572 million (up 37%, 17% organic), Japan €288 million and the Middle East €98 million. The Middle East fell 24% as the conflict continued through the quarter.

What the margin says

Group net income was €327 million, down from €386 million. Adjusted EBIT was €530 million, a 17.4% margin including Versace and currency effects. Organically, the group says its margin held steady against 22.6% in the first half of 2025. The drop is therefore mostly the cost of owning Versace, not a weakening of Prada itself. The balance sheet shows the other side of the deal: a net debt position of €693 million, against net cash of €352 million a year earlier, after €403 million in dividends and €247 million of capital expenditure.

What the chairman and CEO say

Chairman Patrizio Bertelli says the group reached "22 quarters of uninterrupted organic growth" and that the environment "is likely to remain volatile". Guerra adds that the group will "remain disciplined and agile as we pursue our ambition of delivering above-market growth for the Group." Both statements are company language, and "uninterrupted organic growth" is the group's own count. The numbers in the release support it for the first half, since organic net revenues rose 5% and every region except the Middle East improved from the first quarter to the second.

How to read the brand list

A group list is not a ranking. Prada and Miu Miu produce most of the retail sales the release discusses; Versace is reported as net revenues; the pastry house and the sailing team are heritage and image assets that do not appear in the sales discussion. When a headline says Prada Group "grew 16%", it blends all of these with a currency effect, which is why the organic figure of 5% is the better guide to demand for the core brands.

Two more numbers help. Wholesale rose 40% and royalties rose 73%, with the organic increases at 20% and 12%. Part of that is Versace's wholesale and licensing, which the group did not own a year earlier. The 832-store count may also not be comparable with the 620 stores in the December 2, 2025 release, whose employee figure explicitly excluded Versace.

Our take

Prada Group is a three-engine story now: Prada, which has re-accelerated, Miu Miu, which is cooling from a very high base, and Versace, which is the new project. The headline 16% growth flatters the picture, and the 5% organic number is the one to hold in mind. We would watch Versace's revenue and margin under Mulier over the next two reports, and the Middle East line, before reading this as more than a solid year.
