Prada Group reported 4,541 million euros in net revenues for nine months of 2026, up 15 percent at constant currency but 4 percent organic. Miu Miu retail fell 3 percent in the third quarter.

Prada Group's net revenues for the first nine months of 2026 were 4,541 million euros, up 15 percent at constant currency, but only 4 percent once Versace is stripped out. That gap is the story of the group's third-quarter release, published October 22, 2026: the headline number is acquisition-sized, while the organic number says luxury demand is still soft.

The numbers in the release

The Prada S.p.A. board approved the nine-month revenue figures on October 22, 2026, per the company's press release. Net revenues reached 4,541 million euros against 4,070 million a year earlier, up 12 percent at reported exchange rates and 15 percent at constant ones. Third-quarter growth was 11 percent, with organic growth of 1 percent.

Retail sales, the channel that carries most of the group, were 3,934 million euros, up 11 percent and 2 percent organic. Wholesale rose 35 percent at constant currency to 428 million euros, and royalties rose 77 percent to 178 million. Versace, acquired at the end of 2025, contributed 441 million euros. Prada itself calls the figures unaudited.

Compare that with the nine months of 2025. Trade outlet World Footwear, reporting on October 27, 2025, put net revenue at 4.07 billion euros, up 9 percent at constant rates, with retail sales up 9.3 percent and Miu Miu retail up 41 percent. The retail engine has gone from high single digits to 2 percent in a year.

Prada up, Miu Miu stalls

The brand split is where the quarter gets interesting. Prada brand retail sales rose 2 percent over nine months and 1 percent in the third quarter. Miu Miu retail rose 1 percent over nine months and fell 3 percent in the third quarter, against comparisons of plus 41 percent for the first nine months of 2025 and plus 29 percent for that year's third quarter.

The company's reading is that Miu Miu faces hard comparisons and "a less favourable geographical mix," and that excluding the Middle East its third quarter was broadly stable. Luxury Tribune, an independent trade outlet, framed the same data as growth normalizing after a spectacular run. That is a fair description, but it is also worth noting that a brand the group has leaned on as its growth driver is now below its sister brand in the quarter.

“The third quarter unfolded against a particularly challenging industry backdrop.”

Where the money came from

Geography tells a clearer story than brand. Retail sales in the Americas were 851 million euros, up 33 percent at constant currency and 13 percent organic, and the release calls the region the best performer in the quarter. Asia Pacific was 1,344 million euros, up 12 percent and 5 percent organic, with Mainland China traffic described as subdued and offset by Korea, Hong Kong and Macau.

Europe was 1,180 million euros, up 5 percent but down 3 percent organic. The Middle East was the weak spot at 136 million euros, down 23 percent. Japan, restated for the move of Hawaii into the Americas, was 424 million euros, up 5 percent and 2 percent organic.

How this fits the rest of luxury

Prada is not alone in a hard quarter. Kering reported a soft third quarter that we covered in our look at Kering's third quarter, with Gucci down 6 percent comparable. Prada's 1 percent organic quarter is better than a decline, and the release credits "brand desirability and effective retail initiatives." Whether that is desirability or simply a smaller base is something the filing cannot answer.

For the group's structure, our guide to Prada Group's brands after the Versace deal lays out what each label contributes. As of June 30, 2026, the group's own profile counts 832 stores, 24 owned factories and 17,816 employees.

What management said

Group CEO Andrea Guerra framed the quarter this way in the release: "The third quarter unfolded against a particularly challenging industry backdrop." He added that the group "showed good resilience, underpinned by brand desirability and strong retail execution." Chairman Patrizio Bertelli said "market turbulence is likely to persist" and that the group is "confident in our ability to navigate the challenges ahead."

Those are standard lines, and none of them is a forecast. The release gives no guidance, and neither should a reader infer one. On Versace, the company says only that it is laying "the foundations for the creative debut in 2027," and that integration is on track. Luxury Tribune names Pieter Mulier as the creative director who will present the first collection; Prada's own release does not name him, so treat that as the outlet's reporting.

Hype check

The claim the numbers invite is "solid growth." Nine-month revenue up 15 percent is real, but most of the increase is one acquisition. Organic growth of 4 percent over nine months and 1 percent in the quarter is the figure that compares with peers, and it is slowing: retail organic growth went from 9 percent in the 2025 nine months to 2 percent in 2026.

Our take

Read this as a steady quarter in a bad market, not a recovery. Prada the brand is holding, Miu Miu is cooling from a run that could not last, and the Americas are doing the heavy lifting while China and the Middle East lag. The next real test is the Versace debut in 2027 and whether the full-year organic number can stay positive. We will update our brand pages when the group reports full-year results.
