Milan's spring-summer 2027 week ran September 22 to 28, 2026. Here are the official CNMI dates, the schedule as published, the debuts that framed it and the dates through 2027.

Milan Fashion Week 2026 ran from September 22 to 28 with the spring-summer 2027 womenswear shows, and the next editions are already dated. This page is the season reference: the official dates from Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, the schedule as it was published before the week, the debuts that framed it, and the dates for the next three Milan weeks. It is a calendar tracker. It records what was scheduled, not what the shows looked like, and we have not reviewed any collection here.

The official dates, from the organizer

Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI), which organizes Milan Fashion Week, lists these dates on its own site:

  • Spring/Summer 2027 womenswear: September 22 to 28, 2026.
  • Autumn/Winter 2027/2028 womenswear: February 23 to March 1, 2027.
  • Spring/Summer 2028 womenswear: September 21 to 27, 2027.
  • Menswear, Autumn/Winter 2027/2028: January 15 to 19, 2027.
  • Menswear, Spring/Summer 2028: June 18 to 22, 2027.

The same CNMI page lists the previous womenswear editions: Autumn/Winter 2026/2027 on February 24 to March 2, 2026, and Spring/Summer 2026 on September 23 to 29, 2025. If you are planning travel, the useful pattern is that womenswear falls in the last week of September and the last week of February, and menswear comes earlier, in January and June.

For how Milan fits against Paris, London and New York over the coming year, our fashion week calendar for 2027 lays out every council's dates side by side.

The 2026 week in numbers

Milano Finanza published the week's guide on September 16 and updated it on September 21. It counted 203 appointments: 61 runway shows, 88 presentations and 54 events. It also reported that Prada would open the calendar for the first time, with its womenswear show on Tuesday, September 22 at 2 p.m., and that Giorgio Armani would close the runway week on Sunday, September 27. Monday, September 28 was reserved for digital shows from Uni form, Nadya Dzyak, Timisola Shasanya, Mastewal Alemu, Maxivive, Banke Kuku and Rechenberg.

CNMI president Carlo Capasa described the city's standing in the guide: "Milano è il place to be della stagione," meaning Milan is the place to be this season. That is a trade body's description of its own event, not an independent measurement of anything.

The schedule as published

The published schedule listed these houses by day. Times are local Milan time and reflect the September 21 update from Milano Finanza.

  • Tuesday, September 22: Prada at 2 p.m., Dhruv Kapoor, Diesel, Peserico, J.Salinas and Venerdì Pomeriggio.
  • Wednesday, September 23: Jil Sander, Antonio Marras, Fendi at 2 p.m., Missoni, MM6 Maison Margiela and Etro, among others.
  • Thursday, September 24: Max Mara, Marni at 2 p.m., Alberta Ferretti, Roberto Cavalli and Emporio Armani.
  • Friday, September 25: Tod's, Sportmax, Gucci at 2 p.m., Moschino at 5 p.m. and The Attico.
  • Saturday, September 26: Ferragamo, Dolce & Gabbana, Bottega Veneta at 8 p.m. and Philipp Plein at 9 p.m., among others.
  • Sunday, September 27: Giorgio Armani at 11 a.m., Milano Moda Graduate at noon and several emerging labels.

The Daily Front Row's July 30 preview, which was earlier and provisional, listed a slightly different slate in places, for example an earlier version of the weekend with no Philipp Plein show. When the two disagree, use CNMI's dates and the later Milano Finanza list, and check the house's own announcement for a time.

The debuts that framed the week

Three storylines came from the schedule itself, not from the clothes.

Moschino. Loris Messina and Simone Rizzo showed their first collection for the house on Friday, September 25 at 5 p.m., according to both Milano Finanza and The Daily Front Row. The Daily Front Row says they replaced Adrian Appiolaza earlier this year.

Second collections. Milano Finanza noted the second ready-to-wear shows of Maria Grazia Chiuri at Fendi and Meryll Rogge at Marni. Second collections are where a creative director's direction starts to read as a direction, so they are worth tracking even before reviews.

Armani and Versace. Giorgio Armani closed the week, and Milano Finanza reported that the house had just named Dario Vitale to lead the Emporio line and accessories. Versace was absent from the schedule, which The Daily Front Row attributed to Pieter Mulier having started on July 1, with a runway debut planned for fall 2027. That timing is the publication's account, and we have not seen a statement from Versace in the sources we opened.

What this page does not cover

We have not reviewed the shows. For a worked example of how we cover a debut after it happens, see our report on Drew Henry's Courrèges debut, which was a Paris show. For Milan, treat everything above as schedule data, and look to the houses' own show notes for what was presented.

How we grade the schedule claims

The claim worth testing is that Milan was "the place to be" this season. The numbers support a large week: 203 appointments is a lot of inventory. They do not show who attended, how many buyers placed orders or how the shows were received, and those figures are not in anything we opened.

Our take

Use CNMI's dates for planning and Milano Finanza's list for the day-by-day, then confirm any single show with the house. The next date to put in your calendar is menswear on January 15 to 19, 2027, followed by womenswear on February 23 to March 1. We will update this page when CNMI publishes a preliminary schedule for the next season.
