Kendall Jenner is now global creative director of Fwrd: what Revolve confirmed and what it did not
By Yash Malviya·
Revolve Group said on October 13, 2026 that Kendall Jenner moves up to global creative director of Fwrd and becomes a Revolve Los Angeles ambassador. The release gives growth figures for Fwrd, but no deal terms.
Kendall Jenner is now global creative director of Fwrd, the luxury e-commerce arm of Revolve Group, and she will also serve as an ambassador for the company's own label, Revolve Los Angeles. Revolve announced the change on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. This is what the company said, what its filings show about the business she is fronting, and what nobody has disclosed.
What Revolve announced
According to the release distributed through PR Newswire on October 13, 2026, Jenner moves from creative director of Fwrd, a title she was given in 2021, to global creative director. In the new role she will guide Fwrd's digital creative direction, including brand curation, monthly trend edits and major marketing initiatives. For Revolve Los Angeles she will front key campaigns, appear at major brand events and work on exclusive fashion projects.
The company describes the relationship as a long one. Its release says she has been part of the Revolve ecosystem for nearly a decade. Raissa Gerona, Revolve Group's president of brand and partnerships, called the expansion a natural next step. Jenner said she was "incredibly excited to continue this partnership with FWRD."
FashionUnited, which covered the announcement independently, reports the same duties and the same 2021 start date. FashionUnited's report lists no contract length or pay, and neither does Revolve's release.
What the numbers say about Fwrd
The release cites one figure: Fwrd net sales grew 14% year over year for the year-to-date period ended June 30, 2026. Revolve's second quarter report, filed on August 4, 2026, gives the quarter on its own. Fwrd segment net sales were $44.9 million, up 11%. The Revolve segment made $302.5 million, up 13%.
“I'm incredibly excited to continue this partnership with FWRD”
Add the two and you get $347.4 million for the quarter, which makes Fwrd roughly 13% of Revolve Group's sales. So the person getting the bigger title fronts the smaller of the two businesses, the one Revolve positions as its luxury platform. Domestic sales across the group were $269.1 million, up 11%, and international sales were $78.4 million, up 16%.
Here is the catch for anyone tempted to read the promotion as a cause. Both growth figures describe the months before the new title existed. The release says Fwrd is growing, and the filing confirms it, but neither connects the growth to Jenner's work. Revolve has not said how much of Fwrd's traffic or sales comes from her edits or posts, and we have not found a source that does. A retailer can credit a face for traffic, but only its own data can show it, and Revolve has published none for this role.

What is not disclosed
The release gives no financial terms. It does not say whether Jenner is paid a salary, a fee per campaign or in equity, how long the new arrangement runs, or what she is responsible for beyond the digital and campaign work listed. The same goes for whether she has any say in buying, which is the part of a retailer's creative direction that moves the sales line.
That matters because the phrase creative director means something specific at a fashion house, where the person designs the collection and answers for it. At a retailer it usually means curation, styling and marketing. Our explainer on what a creative director in fashion does covers the house version. The Fwrd job, as Revolve describes it, is the retailer version: edits, campaigns and a famous face.
It also helps to place the title in the year's run of creative appointments. Revolve's own news list shows a September 21 release headed "Donatella Versace and Revolve: a new era begins," so the company is leaning on well-known creative names this autumn. Our tracker of creative director changes follows the house appointments, which are a different kind of job from this retailer role.
Why a retailer promotes a name
Retailers have an obvious reason to put a recognizable person at the front of a luxury platform. Fwrd sells other brands' products, so it cannot differentiate on the product itself. Its edge is curation and taste, and a name that shoppers recognize is a cheap, fast way to signal both. The risk is symmetrical: a platform that leans on one face for its identity is exposed if that face moves on, or if the audience tires of it.
Revolve's own numbers suggest the platform is not in trouble. A segment growing 11% in a quarter is a good number, and the contrast with the big groups is stark: LVMH reported on July 27, 2026 that its Fashion & Leather Goods revenue fell 5% in the first half on a reported basis, and 1% organically. That is the fair reading of the filings, and it is the reading the release is built to invite. What the filings cannot tell you is whether this appointment adds to it.
Our take
This is a real title change at a real, growing business, and Revolve has said so in its own words. It is not yet a business story, because the information that would make it one is missing: terms, scope, and any measure of what the role is meant to deliver. What we would watch is Fwrd's segment sales in the third quarter report on November 3, 2026, and whether Revolve says anything about the role there. What we would skip is any headline that credits Jenner with Fwrd's growth, because the quarter in question closed before she held the new title, and the release itself does not make the link.
Frequently asked questions
What is Kendall Jenner's new role at Fwrd?

Yes. The same release makes her an ambassador for Revolve Los Angeles, the company's namesake label. In that role she will front key campaigns, appear at major brand events and work on exclusive fashion projects.
How fast is Fwrd growing?
Revolve says Fwrd net sales rose 14% year over year in the year-to-date period ended June 30, 2026. In the second quarter alone, Fwrd segment net sales were $44.9 million, up 11%, against $302.5 million for the Revolve segment, up 13%.
Did Revolve say how much Jenner is paid?
No. The release gives no financial terms, contract length or equity. Neither the company's release as we read it nor the FashionUnited report lists them.
When does Revolve report its next results?
Revolve's news list shows a release saying it will announce third quarter 2026 financial results on November 3, 2026. That report is the first chance to see whether the company comments on the new role.
Is a retailer creative director the same as a fashion house creative director?
Not in the usual sense. At a house the person designs and answers for the collection. At a retailer such as Fwrd, the role as Revolve describes it covers curation, trend edits and marketing.
