Dates of Paris Fashion Week 2028 and 2029: the full FHCM calendar

The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode (FHCM) lists Paris Fashion Week dates through 2029. Womenswear spring/summer 2029 runs September 25 to October 3, 2028, and womenswear autumn/winter 2028-2029 runs February 28 to March 7, 2028. Menswear and haute couture weeks are listed too, and every date below comes from the FHCM's Next seasons page, read October 28, 2026.

Paris Fashion Week 2028 dates

The FHCM groups its calendar by year. These are the Paris Fashion Week dates for 2028:

• Menswear autumn/winter 2028-2029: Tuesday, January 18 to Sunday, January 23, 2028
• Womenswear autumn/winter 2028-2029: Monday, February 28 to Tuesday, March 7, 2028
• Menswear spring/summer 2029: Tuesday, June 20 to Sunday, June 25, 2028
• Womenswear spring/summer 2029: Monday, September 25 to Tuesday, October 3, 2028

The haute couture weeks for 2028 are separate: spring/summer 2028 runs Monday, January 24 to Thursday, January 27, and autumn/winter 2028-2029 runs Monday, July 3 to Thursday, July 6. Our haute couture explainer covers why couture has its own schedule.

Paris Fashion Week 2029 dates

The 2029 calendar follows the same shape, a day or two earlier:

• Menswear autumn/winter 2029-2030: Tuesday, January 16 to Sunday, January 21, 2029
• Womenswear autumn/winter 2029-2030: Monday, February 26 to Tuesday, March 6, 2029
• Menswear spring/summer 2030: Tuesday, June 19 to Sunday, June 24, 2029
• Womenswear spring/summer 2030: Monday, September 24 to Tuesday, October 2, 2029

Haute couture spring/summer 2029 runs Monday, January 22 to Thursday, January 25, 2029, and autumn/winter 2029-2030 runs Monday, July 2 to Thursday, July 5, 2029.

How the pattern works

Read together, the FHCM's dates are regular. Each womenswear week is nine days, from a Monday to the Tuesday of the following week. Each menswear week is six days, Tuesday to Sunday. Each couture week is four days, Monday to Thursday. We checked the weekdays against a calendar and they hold for every date listed.

The weeks also drift earlier. Womenswear spring/summer opens on September 27 in 2027, September 25 in 2028 and September 24 in 2029. That fits a fixed Monday slot: the same weekday lands two calendar dates earlier after the 2028 leap day and one date earlier in 2029. The autumn/winter womenswear week moves the same way: March 1 in 2027, February 28 in 2028 and February 26 in 2029.

The 2027 weeks, for reference

The FHCM page also lists 2027, which sits between the current season and the new dates: menswear autumn/winter 2027-2028 runs January 19 to 24, 2027, haute couture spring/summer 2027 runs January 25 to 28, womenswear autumn/winter 2027-2028 runs March 1 to 9, menswear spring/summer 2028 runs June 22 to 27, haute couture autumn/winter 2027-2028 runs July 5 to 8 and womenswear spring/summer 2028 runs September 27 to October 5, 2027. What the dates do and do not tell you

The FHCM sets the calendar. Wikipedia describes the weeks as a series of designer presentations held in Paris twice a year and says the dates are determined by the Fédération. Paris is one of the "Big Four" fashion weeks alongside New York, London and Milan, and Wikipedia says the haute couture collections are always presented before the ready-to-wear collections.

What a listed week does not give you is a show-by-show schedule. When we visited, the FHCM homepage was promoting the "Final Calendar" for womenswear spring/summer 2027, which suggests the day-by-day program arrives closer to each season, and the houses decide where and when to show inside the window. A date range also says nothing about who is showing; creative director changes reshuffle that every season.

FashionUnited, which reported the 2028 and 2029 calendar on October 28, 2026, noted that it had published the 2027 dates earlier. Its numbers match the FHCM page for every week we compared, which is the independent check we wanted before publishing.

Why Paris dates anchor the season

Wikipedia says the Big Four run in sequence, beginning with New York, then London, then Milan, and ending in Paris. That makes the FHCM's womenswear weeks the closing leg of each month-long round, so the Paris dates tell press, buyers and showrooms when the cycle ends. For spring/summer 2029, that means a finish on Tuesday, October 3, 2028, and for autumn/winter 2028-2029 a finish on Tuesday, March 7, 2028.

What is still missing

We did not check other cities for 2028 or 2029 dates in this report, so we list none. When we built our 2027 calendar on October 2, Milan had posted menswear and autumn/winter 2027-2028 dates but not September 2027, and New York and London had not posted all of 2027. A fashion week calendar is also a plan, not a contract: the FHCM can move dates, and we found no changelog on the page.

Our take

Treat these as planning dates rather than booking dates. If you attend, buy, cover or travel for Paris Fashion Week, the useful insight is the pattern: womenswear opens on a Monday in late September or around the end of February, couture is the Monday-to-Thursday week in January and July, and from 2027 to 2029 the dates slide a day or two earlier each year. We will keep this page in step with the FHCM and note any change.
